Terms of Service

1. The Service

Number Sniper searches, acquires, and catalogs local North American Numbering Plan (NANP) phone numbers, and makes them available for purchase or offer through our website. Numbers we sell are provisioned through third-party telecommunications providers; Number Sniper does not manufacture or control the underlying telephone network.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to purchase a number or submit an offer. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Orders & Payment

Fixed-price numbers can be purchased immediately through checkout. All payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. A number is reserved for you once added to your cart and is not sold to you until payment is successfully processed and confirmed. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice until an order is placed.

4. Offers & Negotiation

Some numbers are open to offers instead of a fixed price. Submitting an offer is not a binding purchase — it starts a negotiation thread that either side can counter or decline. A sale becomes binding only once we accept an offer (or counter-offer) and you complete checkout within the reservation window described below. We may decline any offer for any reason, and accepting one offer on a number automatically declines any other open offers on that same number.

5. Cart & Offer Reservations

Adding a number to your cart reserves it for a limited time so another customer can't purchase it out from under you. Accepting an offer likewise reserves the number for a limited window to complete checkout. If a reservation expires before checkout is completed, the number becomes available to other customers again and any prior negotiation must be restarted.

6. Porting Your Number

Once you own a number, you may port it to another carrier or VoIP provider using the account number and PIN we provide after purchase — see our Porting Guide. Porting timelines and requirements are set entirely by your receiving carrier, not by Number Sniper, and we are not responsible for delays, fees, or requirements imposed by that carrier.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Because a phone number is provisioned to you specifically and can't be resold as new once ownership changes hands, all sales are final once your order is confirmed, except where required by law or where we determine, in our discretion, that an error on our part warrants a refund. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us right away.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or scripts) to search, monitor, or purchase numbers outside of the normal use of our website.
• Attempt to circumvent cart or offer reservation limits, or interfere with another customer's ability to purchase or negotiate on a number.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to acquire numbers for fraud, harassment, or impersonation.
• Submit fraudulent payment information or attempt to reverse a legitimate charge (chargeback) after receiving a number.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

9. Intellectual Property

The Number Sniper name, logo, website design, and catalog software are our property or that of our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from them without our written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right in a phone number's underlying network assignment beyond the right to use it as its subscriber, consistent with your telecommunications provider's own terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Service and the numbers we sell are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee that a number will remain available, that its rate center or area code assignment will never change under carrier or regulatory rules, or that porting to any specific carrier will succeed.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Number Sniper will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service or a number you purchased will not exceed the amount you paid for that number.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Termination doesn't affect numbers you already own or orders already completed.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Number Sniper is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally before pursuing any other remedy.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
